Kritik an der Hysterie, die dem Unternehmertum schadet und Kontaktpflege behindert
Die Regelungsdichte nimmt fast täglich zu. Immer mehr Unternehmen verbieten ihren Führungskräften, Geschenke anzunehmen,
die einen Wert von zehn Euro überschreiten oder sich zum Essen einladen zu lassen,
wenn dieses mehr als zwei Gänge beinhaltet. Was früher primär für den öffentlichen
Dienst galt, um Bestechlichkeit zu vermeiden,
wird zur Regel in Konzernen und bei vielen Mittelständlern. Compliance nennen das
die Unternehmen. Im vorauseilenden Gehor-
sam und aus Angst vor Kriminalisierung oder gesellschaftlichen Neiddebatten wird reguliert, was das Zeug hält – auch wenn der Preis
hoch ist. Misstrauen leitet die Compliance-Abteilungen. Dabei droht die Entmenschlichung der Unternehmen und das Ende des wertvollen Beziehungsmanagements, lautet meine Warnung.
Compliance-Regeln killen den persönlichen Austausch. Schließlich sind Kontakte, Beziehungen, menschlicher Umgang mit Kollegen und das Gewinnen von Informationen immens wichtig für Unternehmen. Jahrelang haben Firmen ihre Mitarbeiter in Kommunikationstrainings in die „hohe Schule des Netzwerkens“ eingeführt und sie fit gemacht, um sympathisch im Dialog mit Lieferanten, Partnern, Kunden und Dienstleistern positiv zu wirken und für sich und das Unternehmen zu werben. Nun könnte ihnen deswegen Ungemacht drohen. „Erst geben dann nehmen“, lautet eine noch immer aktuelle Regel des strategischen Networkings, der Kunst, lose Kontakte und belastbare Beziehungen umzuwandeln. Und gegeben wurden eben oft auch gemeinsame Abendessen oder kleine Aufmerksamkeiten. Nun aber stehen Regelungen dem im Wege. Der erfolgreiche Netzwerker und aktive Werber steht nunmehr unter Generalverdacht.
Unlängst habe ich aus diesem Grund in meine Netzwerk- und Karriere-Trainings einen neuen Themenkomplex eingebaut: „Netzwerken ohne Ärger“. Es ist allerdings schade, dass so etwas nötig geworden ist. Denn schließlich ist es wichtig, Branchenwissen auszutauschen, über Unternehmens- und Hierarchiegrenzen hinweg Produkte und Innovationen zu kommunizieren oder auf dem „kleinen Dienstweg“ Themen auf den Weg zu bringen. Das soll nun alles nicht mehr möglich sein – zumindest nicht mehr beim entspannten Drei-Gänge-Menü? Gerade für Start-ups und inhabergeführte Unternehmen ist der persönliche Kontakt die beste Werbung. Wo Mittel für Marketing-Kampagnen fehlen, sind von jeher Empfehlungen und das Kontaktmanagement die beste Wahl gewesen. Nun wird genau das zunehmend erschwert. Es droht die gesellschaftliche Ächtung und innerbetriebliche Bestrafung wegen eines persönlichen Dialogs oder einem kleinem Geschenk. Für mich persönlich artet die Regelungswut als „Hysterie, die dem Unternehmertum schadet und Kontaktpflege behindert“ aus. Das Pendel schlagt fast nur in eine Richtung aus.
Dennoch muss Netzwerken sein. Ohne persönliche Kontakte und die Einbettung in ein tragfähiges Beziehungs- und Informationsgeflecht sind viele Erfolge unmöglich. Notwendig sind neue, moderne und angepasste Formen der Beziehungspflege, basierend auf Vertrauen und Gegenseitigkeit. Das gilt noch immer uneingeschränkt. Nun kommen aber notwendige Ansprachen mit der Compliance-Abteilung hinzu. Netzwerken geht heute anders.

wie wahr, wie wahr.
Ich kann Ihre Erfahrungen nur bestätigen. Einladung eines Abteilungsleiters zu einer eindeutig deklarierten Marketing-Informationsveranstaltung mit Imbiss. NEIN-darf er nicht annehmen, weil der Kaffee gratis ist, so in etwa lautete die Antwort. Dort wurde mir empfohlen, einen Minibetrag (20 Euro) als quasi “Eintrittsgeld” zu kassieren – und schon wäre alles wieder ok. Wie finden Sie denn das?

Also, ich fänd’s ganz schlicht blöd, liebe Frau Cech.
Muss man denn alles gleich übertreiben, und das Kind gleich mit dem Kaffee ausschütten (oder wie der Spruch so heißt ;-)).
Der 100 Euro – Richtwert ist mir bekannt, die 2-Gänge Regel höre ich zum ersten Mal, und Kaffee ist doch kein Gang, sondern eine Usance der Gastfreundschaft.

genau, Compliance ist der Geschäftsverhinderer! Wo sich früher die Elite des Unternehmens getroffen und besprochen hatte (gerne im 5 Sterne Ressort mit Partner über´s WE) ist jetzt immer der Complinace-Officer als Geschäftsverhinderer dabei. Ich glaube Sie übertreiben ein wenig!!
Jaja, Korruptionsbekämpfung muss schon sein, aber bitte nicht so, nicht wahr. Wenn ich das Wort Seilschaften schön höre, gehen bei mir alle Lichter an. Von der Kiste Rotwein bis zur nächsten (gekauften) Unterschrift (Übrigens meist zum Nachteil des Unternehmens) ist es nicht weit, wie mir meine Erfahrung als Ermittler zeigt.

Alles Ausnahmen, nicht wahr. Korruption zerstört Gesellschaften und gehört bestraft und wer meint, dass er einen guten Deal nur beim Drei Gänge Menü für 150 € abschliessen kann, hat nix verstanden. Sorry!!
